BALLYMENA United won their second pre-season friendly in a row, coming back from a goal down to win with goals from Leroy Millar and Ryan Mayse.
It was a much feistier affair than the game against Cardiff Met last Friday evening, and it was the visitors who took the lead through a Jon Hood goal which was smashed low and hard past Glendinning in the 17th minute.

The score was level after 28 minutes when Leroy Millar rose highest to rattle a header in from a Steven McCullough corner.
Half-time seen the first of what turned out to be many substitutions from both sides, and it was a master stroke by United manager David Jeffrey, bringing on Shane McGinty and almost immediately he cut the ball back to Ryan Mayse who found the bottom corner of the net.

Both sides had a few key chances during the remainder of the game, but some resolute defending ensured the Sky Blues ran out 2-1 winners.
