BALLYMENA United travel to Newry Showgrounds on Tuesday evening in a reverse of the fixture on Friday night.
United won the game on Friday at Ballymena Showgrounds 3-0 thanks to goals from Michael Place (pen), Jordan Gibson and David McDaid, grabbing a vital 3 points to increase the gap behind to Newry City to 5 points and decrease the gap between 7th and 8th placed Glenavon and Carrick Rangers to 2 points, with a game in hand against all the sides mentioned.
Newry City:
Having caused headaches to many of the top teams so far this season, it was a surprise that United came away with a 3-0 win on Friday evening, dropping Newry City and leaving them stranded closer to the relegation zone than before.
Ballymena United:
Supporters were delighted to see our biggest league victory and a clean sheet, just the third of the season, on Friday evening. A much improved performance was enough to secure the 3 points.
