Portadown:
Since the defeat to United in January, Portadown have won a single league game, beating Warrenpoint Town 1-0 at home in February. They've drawn 3, including Saturday when they drew 2-2 away to Carrick Rangers, and lost 4, leaving them on 18 points in the relegation play-off spot, 6 behind Carrick and 6 ahead of Warrenpoint Town.

They were knocked out of the Samuel Gelston's Whiskey Irish Cup at the second round stage, Coleraine defeating the Ports 2-0 at home.
Ballymena United:
In the same timeframe, the Sky Blues have won 2 league games, drawn 3 and lost 3, most recently going down 2-0 at home to Linfield. United are in the middle of a battle to finish in the top half of the table, sitting 7th on 40 points, 5 behind Coleraine with a game in hand, and 1 ahead of Glenavon, also with a game in hand.

They reached the semi-finals of the Samuel Gelston's Whiskey Irish Cup last Saturday, defeating Larne 4-3 on penalties after extra-time, and were drawn to face Glentoran, although they have been replaced by Newry City after an ineligibility issue was highlighted.

Positions in the league would suggest that United have the upper hand in this game, and they'll be eager to put in a good performance after the defeat to league champions and leaders Linfield. Portadown, however, will be dangerous as they're attempting to climb away from the relegation zone. Make your way to Shamrock Park and be loud and proud in support of YOUR team - Come On Sky Blues!
