BALLYMENA United are sending squads to both Crewe and Comber on Saturday afternoon, the Crewe United game kicking off at 2:00pm, while the game against Comber Rec will kick off at 3:00pm.

The later game at Parkway, off Killinchy Street in Comber, sees a match up between a Danske Bank Premiership and a side who won division 1A of the Northern Amateur Football League last season.

Comber Rec drew 1-1 with St James' Swifts last weekend, having lost their previous outing, a 5-0 defeat away to Crusaders in a preparation match for their European adventures. The only competitive game between United and Comber was in February 2007 in the 6th round of the Irish Cup, the Sky Blues winning 1-0 at home thanks to an early Paul Brown goal.
