THE football season has ended but Sports Bond continues throughout the close season. In fact this is a very important part of the year for Sports Bond as direct canvassing has commenced to recruit new members. |
Also it is a time to search out possible new agents which is the backbone of its success. Another feature commencing soon will be telephone marketing which will target new and previous members. This week saw the major winners go to our largest two agencies. Maurice Anderson had a £50 major winner with Tommy McFetridge (C9224). Ahoghill man Tommy has been a previous winner on a few occasions and is one of a few members whose membership number commences with the letter C. Patricia Thompson had a double success with a £50 major winner with Jimmy Richardson (A1883). Jimmy has been a long time Sports Bond member and we are delighted he has became a major winner. The other winner was a £10 minor win for grandson Teddy Thompson (A9336). Out in Cullybackey Helen Lynn (A5804) was a £10 winner. Helen is one our great friends at the Moby Chip and our only lady winner this week. While there was another win in the Randalstown area for David McCosh (A1457). Still no jackpot winner with the numbers 5, 13, 14, and 17 not allocated and so the jackpot is £750 for this week. To join Sports Bond now ring 07831 803970 and help support the club. |

Birthday wishes to Sports Bond agent Alex Beverland who celebrates his birthday on Tuesday. Alex has been doing a super job over the last few years and hopes to grow his agency over the summer. We were disappointed to learn that Sports Bond member Betty Henry had a fall at home and has been in hospital for a few weeks. We send Betty our best wishes and hope she is back home soon. Belated birthday greetings to Sports Bond member Benny McGarry who had a birthday last week. |

Three more winners have been found and two are from Broughshane. Sky Blue fan Ian McKeown had a 12 minute winning card in his own allocation and won £30. Gary McMullan purchased his winning card at the final and he has also received £30. Another winner was Janette Forsythe, sister of Sports Bond agent David Brown, who collected £30 also. We believe there are a possible two other winners out there, so if you have a 12 minute card contact Brian Thompson on 07831 803970 and collect £30. |
