Neighbours win on Sports Bond
Uploaded Monday, 17th Apr, 2023 at 07:12

LAST week we celebrated the fact that Jackie Fullerton had won a major £50 on Sports Bond. A week later his next door neighbour Nigel McPeake (A7530) was also a £50 major winner.
Both became Sports Bond members on the same evening of canvassing and now both have won £50 in under their first year. For their Sports Bond agent Alex Beverland it was also a second week in a row with a £50 major winner. In fact both agents who had major winners last week repeated the feat this week as Patricia Thompson had a £50 winner with Johnny Speirs (A8641). Could both agents go on to make it a hat-trick of success?

The three £10 minor winners this week are all previous winners. Ian Millar (A3883) on the agency of Tommy Patterson, Paul McNaul (B6208) on the agency of Maurice Anderson and a family win with Roberta McAuley on the agency of Reid McAuley.

No jackpot was recorded with the numbers 6, 7, 9, and 20 and the jackpot is £550 for this week. Join Sports Bond on 07831 803970.

Agents News
With the Irish Cup final in under 3 weeks time the final gives us the opportunity to say thanks to all our hard working Agents. An announcement will be made soon after all agents who are going to the final are contacted.

Sympathy is extended to the Tennant and McCaughey families who were bereaved by the passing of Willy Tennant after a short illness. Willy was also a friend of Promoter Brian Thompson for many years.
First Score
Last year we had a record breaking Irish Cup Final First score and we are determined to beat it this year. Irish Cup final First score cards will go in distribution by next weekend.

At this moment it is not confirmed that First Score will be in Newry.
Grand Sports Draw
The prospect of winning a prize to attend a Premier League match at Newcastle is certainly proving to be a winner in this year's Grand sports draw. Two tickets have been kindly donated by Sky Blue Supporter John Pogue from Consett, Co Durham. John Pogue is proprietor of Mountfield Quality Products who sponsor Joshua Kelly. Both Joshua and dad Neil are massive Newcastle United fans and both have already bought tickets in the draw.

Many other great sports prizes are on offer from karting to rugby, from golf to fishing.

You still have 2 weeks to get a ticket.
