Meanwhile this week's major winners are names long associated with junior football over the years. In Ahoghill it was a first win for Stephen Worthington (A9249) who has been a member for around two years and pays by standing order. Meanwhile another name from junior football of yesteryear is Gregg. Over in Kells there are 3 members of the Gregg family in Sports Bond. Last year Mervyn and Pat were both major winners and now Jimmy Gregg (B4758) has joined them as a £50 major winner. Jimmy was an accomplished goalkeeper in his day and it was a belated birthday present as he celebrated another birthday during the week. Also in Kells, Pauline McBride (B0277) was a minor £10 winner. It has been a few years but Pauline has a multiple winner previously making Connor the hot spot of the week. Back in Ballymena Sky Blue fan Alan Young (A1976) was a £10 winner while out in Portglenone the Sky Blue supporting McCallion family had a £10 winner. There are 4 members of the family in Sports Bond and are all members on the agency of Margaret Downey. On this occasion it was Alan McCallion (A6335) who was the lucky member. |
