| BALLYMENA Untied can confirm that Spencer Beattie will go Dundela on a season long loan. The 20-year-old forward joins up with familiar faces having spent last season with the East Belfast side. |
| Manager David Jeffrey MBE explains, "last season we had Spencer and Craig (Farquhar) on loan at Dundela and we were able to see the benefit of that development during a tough pre-season schedule here. It made sense to us to have Spencer continue to receive game time in what will be a competitive NIFL Championship this season. When players go out on loan it is never about trying to make life easier for them in any way, quite the contrary - make no mistake that Dundela have high expectations this season and will be demanding from their players to be pushing for promotion. We feel that continuing to be in and around that environment will be of greater benefit to Spencer at this time in his career and we will be watching with great interest and monitoring his development throughout this season. |
