| BALLYMENA United are delighted to announce the signing of George Tipton. |
| Tipton, son of former Sky Blue Matthew, signs following four seasons with Portadown. The 19 year old midfielder becomes David Jeffrey's sixth signing of the summer. |
| The Boss spoke of his delight at the signing, "when we learnt of George's current situation we were very keen to see if it was possible to bring him here, and as it turned out we are delighted to be able to sign him. He has been someone that I have known since he was a young boy obviously through his father Matthew and I have watched his career develop with particular interest. He's got a significant number of senior games under his belt for a young man of his age, and with great potential for even more he saw this as an opportunity to advance his career." |
