| BALLYMENA United are delighted to announce that Andy McGrory has signed a one year extension. |
| The 30-year-old right back has made 123 appearances, chipping in with 23 goals since signing for David Jeffrey from Glenavon in June 2018. |
| Manager David Jeffrey was pleased with the extension, "We're absolutely delighted that Andrew has agreed to extend his contract here for at least a further year. It's well on record the challenges that injury has presented him over the last couple of years, and yet this season has seen him not only return to fitness, but also to great form. That was epitomised by his performance in the Irish cup final where, alongside others, he put in an exceptional shift. The gratifying thing in this was his desire to stay here - he had other suitors, of that there's no doubt, but I don't believe our negotiations took longer than two minutes. Going forward we hope the days of injury are well past and we have him fit and available to continue to play in Sky Blue and we will see more of the Andrew that we saw in the Irish cup final." |
