Happy 21st Birthday Sports Bond!
Uploaded Monday, 21st Nov, 2022 at 22:12

ON Tuesday November 20th 2001 Sports Bond completed its first lottery draw. On Tuesday we will celebrate Sports Bond's 21st Birthday, quite a remarkable milestone.
Over the years it is truly a part of the fabric of Ballymena United. Its strength comes from our marvellous members and a remarkable team of agents dedicated to working for Sports Bond and Ballymena United. No club in the Irish Premier League has a more committed team of supporters. The club are very fortunate to have them and those who over the past 21 years have made Sports Bond such a success.

This week we had a major £50 winner based in Co Durham. John Pogue (A3189) has family connections in the Randalstown and Grange area and was recently over visiting family. John has been a player sponsor for many years and is currently the sponsor of club captain Joshua Kelly.

Not only is John a yearly payer but so are three of his close friends. Congratulations to John and hopefully you can make it to a match in 2023.

Sports Bond agent Sammy Bones is enjoying a fine run of form and this week he had a £5 major winner with Wilma Ramsey (A6680). Most of Sammy's agency are in the Commons estate in Broughshane and Wilma joined as a member in the summer so she has had an excellent start.

The £10 minor winners this week were Bessie Kernohan (A0631) on the agency of Maurice Anderson, Samuel Mahood (A8974) on the agency of Brett Thompson, and Mary McLaughin (B3297) had a £10 win on her daughter's Janice Christie's agency.

The jackpot for this week is £900 after the numbers 15, 20, 23, and 25 were not allocated to any member. Only two draws left before a guaranteed £1000 is won by a Sports Bond member on December 13th. To join Sports Bond now ring 07831 803970 now.

Agents News
Congratulations to Sports Bond member and Ballymena United supporter Trevor Armstrong who celebrates his 80th birthday on Monday. Trevor has two sporting passions - motorcycles and football - and we hope he enjoys his big day.

We also send birthday wishes to William McCombe who celebrates his birthday on Wednesday. William is a member on Maurice Anderson's agency.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Sports Bond member Martha Neilly. The Chichester Park resident only joined Sports Bond this summer with her son Jamie. Both were on David Brown's agency. To Jamie and the family we extend our deepest sympathy.

Two other well known Ballymena United supporters and Sport Bond members have been bereaved of grandparents. Jordan Miller was bereaved of his grandfather Roy Miller in Broughshane and in Randalstown Alan Carson was recently bereaved of his grandmother Sandra Elizabeth Carson. We extend our sympathy to both and their families.
First Score
Kym Nelson scored in the 80th minute at Seaview last Monday to win the game against Crusaders. The winners who really enjoyed their evening were Bethan Mclaughlin and her cousin Mark Turtle. Both shared the £30 prize. Our next First Score will be at Taylor's Avenue this Saturday against Carrick Rangers. Meanwhile the First Score distribution goes on for the first two selected matches England v Wales and Spain v Germany. Get your Scratchcard now.
