ALEX Beverland has seen his Sports Bond agency increase significantly by direct canvassing during the summer months.

|
|
A larger agency means more work but Alex has again stepped up to the mark and he has seen this repaid with more winners. This week he had another major £50 winner with William Montgomery (A1831). William joined on a canvas in 2021 and this is his first win.
Out in Broughshane senior citizen John Currie (B4293) was to have his second major win on Sports Bond, albeit his first win was 5 years ago! We hope he enjoys his third win sooner than that.
In the £10 minor section both winners were family members. Lily Patterson (A2265) is a sister in law to Tommy Patterson her agent while Sammy Forsyth (A2436) is a brother in law to his agent David Brown.
No jackpot was recorded with the numbers 4, 10, 12, and 16 and the jackpot for this week is £450.
To join Sports Bond ring 07831 803970 now. There is no better way to show your support for the club and win valuable cash prizes at the same time.

We extend our best wishes to Bill Ogilvie, husband of Sports Bond member Heather Ogilvie. Bill has recently been in hospital for 4 weeks with coronary issues.
Happy Birthday wishes to Jayden Mulholland who celebrated his birthday on Sunday. Olive McClean celebrates her birthday on Monday and Billy Beattie will be celebrating his birthday next Sunday. All are members on Maurice Anderson's agency.
However story of the week would be the interview of former Sports Bond agent and current member Boyd Douglas of Broughshane on BBC NI News. Boyd is quite unique as he has met King Charles III on 2 separate occasions. Firstly in 1994 when he served the then Prince Charles when he visited the Thatch Inn in Broughshane in 1994 and he met Charles again in 1999 when he opened the Prince Charles garden in the village and returned to the Thatch. Sadly had he left it another couple of years Boyd, one of our great Sports Bond agents, could have signed the future King up for Sports Bond! With Boyd anything is possible.
