Ashley wins £1000 Christmas Jackpot on Sports Bond
Uploaded Monday, 20th Dec, 2021 at 08:07

ASHLEY Doole is going to have a memorable Christmas in 2021 as he became the latest winner of a Sports Bond £1000 jackpot.
Ashley a keen Sports enthusiast has been a Sports Bond member for over 10 years. Previously the Galgorm golf club member has won a major £50 prize many years back however his jackpot numbers of 11, 19, 24, and 25 were pulled out to ensure he was our latest £1000. This was our third £1000 winner this year. Congratulations to Ashley and thanks for your support.

For Ashley's agent Patricia Thompson it was a great week as not only was she a jackpot winning agent but she also had a £50 major winner and a £10 minor winner. The £50 major winner was Catherine McAuley (A1434) and the £10 minor winner was Nadine Houston (A9229). This was a very unique hatrick.

In fact other than the jackpot it was a complete sweep of the weekly prizes by lady members. Sports Bond agent Alex Beverland had a £50 winner with his mum Ruth Beverland (A5757). The other lady member who won £10 was Amy Lynn (A9701) who is a yearly payer.

Congratulations to all winners this week. We still have not had a double £1000 jackpot winner in our 20 years of Sports Bond. Surprisingly we have now 2 £1000 Jackpot winners with the name Doole. Ashley was presented with his winners cheque at the Ballymena Showgrounds very appropriate as Sports Bond is a big part of Ballymena united.

Birthday wishes to two of our members this week Elaine Young and Rikki Barr. Both celebrate their Birthday on Wednesday.
First Score
This week saw three First Score winners. At Solitude in the League Cup semi final we had two winners who had the correct time of 27 minutes. First to claim was Adam McVeigh all the way from Omagh. Adam is a friend of United striker Paul McElroy. The second claimant on the evening was Iain Black of the Management Committee and Covid Officer. Both received £30 on the evening which will go a long way towards their fuel costs on the evening. Both were first time winners. At Stangmore Park on Saturday there was another first time first score winner which is remarkable as he always purchases a card. David Craig of Broughshane had the winning time of 22mins (21 mins 6 seconds) David also collected £30 towards his fuel costs. Well done to all three and now for your second win and £60. The last first score of 2021 will be at Windsor Park on Tuesday night.
Ballymena United Calendar 2022
This Tuesday at the Tower Centre sees the launch of The Ballymena United Calendar 2022. The big question is who is in this years? 'Just about everyone' commented Brian Thompson. The calendar will also be on sale at the Showgrounds on the 27th against Coleraine and on January 1st against Portadown. You can book yours and have it delivered by contacting Brian Thompson on 07831 803970.
