Sportswear Update from Puma

THERE are many challenges facing business' as we navigate our way through the new normal.
One such hurdle has been the delays in receiving our new leisure, training and playing kit from PUMA which was officially launched in early summer.
Whilst some stocks have arrived there currently isn't a level of provision which makes the situation workable and we continue to keep in regular contact with PUMA to find a swift resolution.
We understand the issues facing them, which were provided to us in the update below: -
'Football has been in limbo this summer and so the orders from all clubs across the UK have been condensed into a short period of time. Like many businesses, PUMA have had staff on furlough and have only now gone back to full strength. This coupled with a global network of delivery services battling through Covid restrictions which vary from country to country means we have witnessed a dramatic slow down of production and an increase in lead times which are at odds with our normal prompt service. All of us at PUMA Teamwear are working hard to rectify the issues ASAP and continue to liaise with Ballymena United as we move forward.'
After many discussions over the course of the last few weeks we are sure that there is light at the end of the and we are confident that the quality of the product will justify the prolonged wait.
We would place on record the endeavours of all concerned and fully recognise that although the current situation is largely one which is outwith the control of both parties the best efforts will continue behind the scenes.
