DESCRIBED by Newcastle United manager Sam Allardyce as "Premier League" standard, the match-day changing rooms are only two of nearly twenty individual changing rooms in the new stand.

The main changing rooms, which are used by the first team, lead directly out onto the tunnel at the Showgrounds, and are just beside the referee's room.

Incorporated within the main changing room is a physio room where the United players recieve treatment for injuries and also includes some excersie equipment.

One of the main people in the changing rooms is team attendant Bertnal Thompson, who keeps the playing kit in order and has it ready and waiting for the players before games.
