Antrim was this weeks Sports Bond hotspot and it was a very successful week for Sports Bond agent Alastair Shaw.
Alastair had two major winners with Antrim residents Dean Paine (A8636) and Marie Mitchell (B7436), congratulations to both and a big thank you to Alastair for his work in Antrim and Randalstown areas.
The Wylie Family are big supporters of Sports Bond but have been missing from the winners list for quite a few months, not anymore as Davis Wylie (A6333) was a £50 winner this week.
The minor £10 section saw all female winners and family ones at that. Tommy Patterson had a £10 winner with daughter Nicola Smith (A7322), Alex Beverland had a £10 winner with mum Ruth Beverland (A3571) and a first time win for Nadine Houston (A4125). Nadine joined last summer after her father Roy Heron had quite a bit of success on Sports Bond.
After the £1000 Jackpot win last week the numbers 5, 6, 9 and 22 saw no Jackpot allocated this week and so starts the Jackpot rise begins.
In these difficult times we salute and applaud Sports Bond agent Margaret Downey, a nursing assistant at Antrim Area Hospital. Margaret is a big sky blue fan rarely missing home games with her sister, her sons Gareth and Jonathan play in local junior football. We are all proud of Margaret in her current role in the NHS and wish her all the best in the weeks ahead.
Grand Sports Draw
This seasons Grand Sports Draw was to be in distribution this last week however with the current crisis it has been postponed until early next season. We also think of Jonathan Calderwood of PSG in Paris who has helped with the first prize, Jonathan is currently in total lockdown in Paris only allowed to visit the stadium for essential work on only 2 days per week.
Due to the current crisis Promoter Brian Thompson has taken the decision to suspend the Sports Bond weekly draw in the interest of safety of agents and members. We will recommence when it is deemed safe for all. All agents have been advised accordingly.
