BALLYMENA United have completed the signing of Glenavon winger Eamonn Murray on a one-year contract.

The Downpatrick based youngster made a first appearance for the Sky Blues during Saturday's victory at Larne.

Murray made his debut for the Lurgan Blues back in August 2007 having come through the ranks at Mourneview Park and made 89 appearances scoring 8 goals in three seasons.

* In other news next week's friendly away to Raceview has been moved forward a day to Wednesday (28th) at the request of the home club. Due to this, United's line-up is likely to be made mostly of fringe and Reserve team players.
