BALLYMENA United is pleased to announce that the club have been awarded both domestic and UEFA licences for the 2010/2011 season.

This will allow Ballymena United to compete in the Carling IFA Premiership and also in any UEFA competitions.

A statement from the IFA today read;

"A meeting of the First Instance Body, in line with the core process, took place on 26 April 2010. After carefully considering the submissions from your club, the Committee were satisfied that Ballymena United FC had met all of the required standards for the award of a UEFA Club Licence. As a result the Committee agreed that a UEFA Club Licence be granted on this occasion."

Much of the credit must go to Billy Bell for his meticulous preparation of the club’s successful application.
