BALLYMENA United Football Club are pleased to announce they have successfully gained both a domestic club licence and a European Licence for the forthcoming 2008/2009 season.

Club secretary Don Stirling received confirmation from the Irish Football Association on Thursday morning.

The club would like to thank those that contributed to the successful application, with a special mention to Mr. Billy Bell who contributed a 'lionshare' of the work.
