CORPORATE DINNER GUESTS

BALLYMENA United welcome several special guests to this Saturday's corporate dinner prior to the game against Linfield at the Showgrounds.

Following the success of having former player and manager Arthur Stewart to the previous function, the club has invited two more of its former stars to this dinner.

John Heron and John Garrett, the central defensive partnership in United’s 1989 Irish Cup-winning team, will be special guests at the event.

Councillor Tommy Nicholl, an ardent Sky Blues fan, will represent Ballymena Borough Council at the event, and current Sports Minister Edwin Poots will also be in attendance.

The dinner and match will be sponsored by Bank of Ireland, while Progressive Building Society will sponsor the match ball.
