TWO SELECTED IN UNDER-23 PANEL

LINFIELD manager David Jeffrey has selected two United players for the Under-23 International Challenge trophy for their opening game against Belgium.

This is the first time a Northern Irish side has entered such a competition, which showcases an Irish League representative side; managed by the Windsor Park boss.

The squad will travel together to Belgium for the game on Tuesday, 11th November, 2007.

Goalkeeper Paul Murphy and captain Albert Watson (pictured) have been selected for the game from the 10 players which manager Tommy Wright put forward for selection.

Full-back Craig McClean has also been named among the players on stand-by for the game.
