Uploaded Sunday, 6th Aug, 2017 at 21:50

Ballymena United FC and Translink are delighted to promote a new partnership that will see special offers for away supporters travelling to selected games at the Showgrounds this season.
The first match that will see this special offer is this Friday 11th August for Crusaders supporters. Supporters can get on the train leaving Yorkgate Station at 6:26pm and will arrive in Ballymena Station at 7:05pm. From here a bus will pick up all away supporters at 7:15pm and will drop them at the away turnstiles at the Showgrounds.
After the game, the bus will leave the Showgrounds at 9:40pm approx and will travel direct to Railway station to connect with the 10:00pm train back to Belfast.
The cost is 9 for the return journey, which includes the bus fare, and tickets can be purchased on the train. Over 60's with a Translink Smartpass travel free. Younger travellers will get their return journey for 4.50.
A Ballymena United travel steward will greet away supporters at Ballymena Station and will travel on the bus to the game.
Ballymena United would like to thank Translink for assisting the football community with this innovative scheme, and in particular our travel steward Andy McQuilkin for his support for this.
