New Club Physiotherapist Announced
Uploaded Monday, 31st Jul, 2017 at 21:39

BALLYMENA United are delighted to welcome Gary Crosbie to the club as our new Physiotherapist.
Manager David Jeffrey was pleased to fill the position quickly ahead of the start of the season, "Gary came highly recommended by Paul McAreavey and we asked if he would come up and cover us initially for one night of training. This extended into two nights, and a couple of pre season matches, and by that time we could see how he was already integrating into the staff team and how he interacted with the players. Most pleasing was observing how the players took to him.
We explored his long term availability, and after consideration alongside work and family, Gary confirmed today that he would take up the position of Physio here at our club. He knows my expectations, is happy to meet the commitment to our cause and we're very pleased to say he is now a full member of the staff team."

Gary echoed the manager's delight, "it's great to join the team here. It's clear to see how the team is progressing forward on the pitch and so it is my job to ensure that I can support that from a medical point of view. I've worked in team sports before, with Donegal Celtic and in Body Basics Sports Injury Clinic, so I know what to expect and I look forward to bringing my expertise to the role and to the club".
Welcome aboard Gary!
