BALLYMENA United are delighted to confirm that Ross Glendinning has agreed to make his loan deal permanent by signing a 2 year deal.
Manager David Jeffrey was delighted to secure the signing for next season. "Ross is obviously contracted to Linfield this season, and whilst he is entitled to secure his future in the last 6 months of his contract, we have always done things right here and so we made our intentions clear with Linfield. David Healy was happy for us to negotiate with Ross and after making an offer, he considered it and subsequently agreed a 2 year deal to commence at the start of next season.
I am absolutely delighted to sign Ross on a permanent contract, he has played tremendously well and was fantastic in his role during the League Cup campaign. Myself and Bryan have worked with Ross before and he can only develop and get better - particular praise must go to Alan Simpson (goalkeeping coach) who has worked very well with Ross during his time here. We all agree that Ross has plenty of potential still to come and are delighted that he has committed his future to Ballymena United."

When asked about the future of Tim Allen, David Jeffrey clarified the position by stating, "Tim joined us on the understanding that it was until the end of season. He is considering his options, and has made it clear that if he was to stay in the Irish League it would be with ourselves, but it is likely he will move on at end of season to continue his travels in his footballing adventure."
