PROGRESSION to the semi-finals of the County Antrim Shield proved to be a formality for Ballymena United as they ran out comfortable 4-1 winners over Donegal Celtic at Suffolk Road. Two goals from David Cushley and one apiece from Noel Anderson and Gavin Taggart gave United the win; Paul McVeigh scored a consolation from the spot for the home side.
