Ballymena United suffered a disappointing defeat to Glentoran in the first leg of the Co-Operative Insurance League Cup tie at the Showgrounds. The Glens ran out comfortable 3-1 winners, with substitute Paul McNeill grabbing a late consolation goal for the Braidmen who have it all to do at the Oval in the return tie.
