BALLYMENA UNITED RESERVES 3-1 LINFIELD SWIFTS
Saturday, 22nd October, 2007; Carnegie Reserve League 5

DAVID Dorrian's side swept away Linfield Swifts in their relentless persuit of regaining their Carnegie Reserve League title.

The Windsor Park side were the only Reserve side to have defeated Ballymena United this season, but the young sky blues continued their unbeaten start to the campaign.

Visiting Linfield Swifts opened the scoring through Willie Faulkner.

Teenage sensation David Cushley (pictured) equalised though in the 62nd minute, and it was plain sailing from there on, as Paul McNeill scored United's second four minutes later.

It was Cushley again, who scored a third on seventy minutes to cap off an amazing ten minute spell to seal the game for Ballymena with his third goal of the season.
