A SCOTTISH CELEBRATION
(Sunday, 4th August, 2007)

Like the Mid Antrim area, Ballymena United have had strong links with Scotland during its history.

In the modern era, Alex McCrea was the famous player manager who helped to bring the Irish Cup to the town in 1958.

Then there was the legendary Scottish International Alex Parker, who also played for Everton, the mercurial Sammy Frickleton who played in the 70's, Alex Donald who played for Ballymena and settled in the area.

Recently, Kevin Kelbie, our leading goal scorer of the past two seasons returned to live in Stirling.

The club is faced with additional costs of flights and accommodation. In order to address this situation, we have discussed the following unique promotion entitled:

A Scottish Celebration

We are seeking flights sponsors at £100 each time.

Each flight sponsor will be entered into a draw for the following uniquely Scottish prizes:

Up to 15 flight sponsors

Flights for two people to Edinburgh + 1 nights accommodation and entrance to the Royal Highland Show in June 2008.

Up to 30 flight sponsors

A car ferry crossing on P&O and family ticket to Loudoun Castle Family Theme Park, Ayrshire - Sponsored by P&O Irish Sea and Loudoun Theme Park

Over 30 flight sponsors

A selection of fine Scottish Malt Whiskeys.

All flight sponsors will appear in the press, and on the club website.

Draw to take place in April 2008, at the last home match of the season
